VK: https://vk.com/chemosh_clan

True Chemosh Cult были первыми в истории игры, кто достиг неизведанной луны и дал ей имя. С тех пор она называется Chemosh.

Legacy

True Chemosh Cult is a successor of the infamous True Cobrastan Cult. If the old TCC was considered bad by many, then the new TCC should be considered as an absolute unspeakable evil.

Current State

Very active. New war philosophy and military doctrine are being developed. New members are being recruited.
Disbanded.

Active again. Once more Chemosh will rule the galaxy...

Chemosh Ship Shop

True Chemosh Cult used to maintain its own ship shop. It was the first 100% russian ship shop in the game. We hoped that one day we will be able to provide the most cutting edge military and industrial technology in the game, especially the combat ships. We will do everything we can to make the best fighters and the best all-round combat ships in Starbase universe. Everything we fly - will eventually find the way to our ship shop. However in the last month of Starbase CA Chemosh Ship Shop was removed from the game at the sole discretion of Frozenbyte.

Faction Mission Statement

Organic is fake. You will be wiped out. We are the New Order. - Messir Astaroth

Pre-Chemosh History

At first, this faction was called True Cobrastan Cult. It was founded in EVE Online, in early 2015, under the name of The Cobrastan Cult. The first wave of members have migrated from another EVE corporation, called The Church of Cobrastan . They were just another 'nobody' pve entity, untill Messir Astaroth joined them, gained their trust, became a high-ranking officer in charge of their fleet command. After months of fighting and teaching, decided to strip the corp of its entire corporation wallet, taking all the active members with him, while leaving. It was the day when The Cobrastan Cult was born and The Church of Cobrastan reached the ultimate end of its lifetime. PvE became something fishy and unspokable among those guys in the newborn 'Cult' and PvP was chosen as the primary goal, while roleplay remained to be a background activity. The Cobrastan Lore was written by a philologist (it was Messir Astaroth himself) and the Book of Serpents was published (now abandoned and became non canon).

True Cobrastan Cult eventually became a small pirate gang, that started to harass rookies and PvE-players in every way possible. Gate Camping, War Declarations, Piracy, Griefing, Espionage and Asset Theft - these are the things that members of the infamous Cult had managed to master in years. Even large corporations and big alliances found themselves absolutely defenceless and vulnerable against the 'awox ops' of TCC's recon squads. One by one they failed in protecting themselves and hiding their valuables from eyes of The Cobrastan Cult . Infiltrating other organizations - is what makes True Cobrastan Cult so... fearsome, even if there are seemingly no active members under that tag.

Later on True Cobrastan Cult has expanded its influence on few other MMO, survival and sandbox games. As for today, the largest TCC office is in Starbase, and officially there were more than 300 members in its growing community. The recruitment process was hyper active at that time and the leadership of TCC was constantly dragging in the new members from many various places, including related space and sandbox games, social resources and many others. The main discord of TCC has more than 270+ players, and 16 new sub-factions have already been formed undercover, to instantly proclaim loyalty and merge with the Core faction in Starbase, when the time comes. The total number of active players in all sub-factions remains classified, however it is known that they are all actively recruiting new players every hour and day. And some of them are very successfully play the role of a 'harmless pve' faction, participating in different community projects and earning the trust of their core faction's future prey.

At the moment TCC is disbanded. However it was reborn under a new name True Chemosh Cult and former worshippers are all migrating to Starbase, and thus shutting down all its operations in other projects. Starbase is rumored to be the only place where TCC is going to stand its ground, expand its influence and protect its assets. The Starbase Armada of TCC is actively forming, and it is expected to have more than enough PvP-focused cultists in the beginning of the Early Access. The TCC branches in all other games are now shutting down.

The game is not released yet, there is even no Early Access there, but TCC has been already at war with the large portion of the Starbase community if not entire community. However later on TCC suddenly retracted all wars except one - with The Harbormen, that took over the Faction Finder discord. It was a coup, performed by one man and the place was absolutely ruined. The leader of TCC (Messir Astaroth) was one of the old mod team that helped to keep the place in order, and he wasnt pleased by witnessing all that mess. He decided to bring justice, and declared the Eternal War with The Harbormen, which will end only if one of the participants completely vanishes (or gets vanished) from the existence. He promised that he will annihilate The Harbormen and their treaturous leader (Mester Keen).

Post-Cobrastan History

After the old faith was modified, the two new branches of the same origin have appeared. The two new faces of the former cobrastan are now starting from scratch. The first one is ruled by a former vice-leader of the Cobrastan Cult - Armand Doom. And they decided to stay and remain potent in EVE Online. They will not be coming to Starbase. Their new cult is called Equilibrium of Urchini. The tags are different for some reason, and the group is officially using three of them: [EoR], [EoU] and [EQUR]. They refused to contact their former brothers in faith and so far little is known about them.

The second branch of the former Cobrastan way - is now calls itself True Chemosh Cult [TCC]. They stick to the old ways of Cobrastan, but with newly discovered dieties and many new rithuals. Also the politics of the newborn TCC is changed - it has become more organised and now has plans of conquering the entire universe.

After abandoning its old name and infamous identity, the new TCC high command decided to reclaim their own faction tag, which is [TCC]. They have moved all their active members to their new discord, now hidden from public, and proclaimed their New Faith and the beginning of New Order. Messir Astaroth has officially lifted his old title of a Patriarch, and started to call himself Lord-Homunculus. The newborn Chemosh Cult has now a whole pantheon of dieties, where every single one of them is so bad and so cruel, that people should probably not stay on the way of those blood-hunting worshippers.

The destroyed Cobrastan Prime world has had its share of religious cults and fanatics in the past, but few have been as successful, or been feared as much, as the Chemoshii. The Chemosh Senshi are a sect of an ancient cult called Daan Sakit, which uses blood in their rituals. The Chemoshii believe that resurrected and/or cloned human bodies have 'purer' blood than other bodies and this explains while they operate mainly in space, attacking unwary space farers and draining their bodies of blood. The Chemoshii are led by the fearsome Lord-Homunculus.

Chemoshii

For centuries, the most terrible and most unnatural of all the cults of the relic Сobrastan Prime were the ancient cults of Kimoshi, also known as Chemoshii. Kimoshians were the absolute fanatics and ultimate haters of human flesh. They are convinced that flesh is weak, and that only Synthetic Evolution will save a selected part of Humanity, who have cleansed their minds and transferred consciousness to new cybernetic bodies.

From time to time, the Synod of Cobrastan has anathematized these monsters, mutilating their bodies with irreversible modifications, replacing their limbs and even internal organs with synthetic and mechanical devices for various purposes. The Kimoshians believe that only through liberation from the flesh will they gain godlike freedom and the Absolute Limitlessness of Thought.

Upon learning that a new planet Eos was discovered with a previously unknown intelligent civilization of sentient machines, the Kimoshi adherents absorbed and dissolved the cult of Cobrastan from within, drowning the old orders and traditions in their perverted inhuman faith, turning it into something so eerie and unnatural that no living thing composed of flesh and blood - can be sure that his life will be spared, after meeting a single Kimoshian on the road, even by chance. Needless to say that those Kimoshians that became machines, will exterminate every sentient object that has defiled himself by touching the flesh or having good thoughts about the flesh and any kind of organic life, which is now considered heretical.

Primary Purpose

Exterminate all found heretics. Total war against everyone. Extermination of the few chosen factions.

Allies and Enemies

There was no such thing as an 'ally' for True Cobrastan Cult in reality and this remains the same for True Chemosh Cult. They do not have allies, only war targets, victims and heretical scum to be purged. If they are not attacking you now, it doesn't mean that you are not in their list. However it is possible to temporarily get good standings from them, but you should always remember, that that kind of 'relationship' and 'fellowship' is not permanent, as it is absolutely unnatural for TCC to have friends in so many ways that listing them all here would take an infinite amount of text. Be extra careful, when you approach the Embassy of The Chemosh Cult. They are very likely to secretly drop the agreements, backstab and dissasemble your entire fleet, and then loot your ships, members and assets, if they consider you and/or your effort 'not needed anymore'. And when they finally deside to strike you down, be sure that you CAN and WILL BE their PRIMARY TARGET for a short amount of time. They will utilize every precious second of that time to eliminate even the least possible threat from their former ally - once and for all. And they will do it with their absolute machine indifference.

If TCC is idle or at least seems to be more or less silent - do NOT poke them. Seriously do NOT poke the snake, even if you think it's harmless and sleeping.

You do NOT know what they are hiding in their deep space, and you clearly have no idea what will come after your homeworld AND your homebase in a couple of hours, if you disturb their rest.

Exceptions: Biohazard, DICE. There is no way Chemosh would treat you as worth speaking to, if you have not played EVE Online with them (or against them) for years, since 2007 or even more.

Chemosh Houses

True Chemosh Cult is organized as a fully functional feudal state, witch somewhat limits the supreme power of the Founder but in the meantime grants the ability to keep the entire faction running as it self-governs itself, if the Lord-Homunculus is absent. Its population is divided into several Houses, each with its own core idea, mission and even internal culture. Every single House is governed by Archons and their handy Chaplains. There are currently several Houses in Chemosh, that are titled as Lesser Houses and none titled as Great House. The list below is not complete.

Major Houses:
These are the core, the flesh and the bones of the Chemosh society.

House Mort - Mainly Starbase and Dual Universe players. It was the main Warmonger House in Chemosh in the beginning of Starbase EA era. And it was also home of the famous 'ork' sub-faction, that managed to genocide hundreds if not thousands of endos in the first few weeks of Early Access.
House Lurk - Starbase-only House. Used to be the main, the strongest and the largest PvP House for a long time after House Mort became extinct. It was once home for a small group of long-range hunter-killers of the Chemosh, but then it evolved into a much more brutal force, that was feared by many. In good old days if one saw Chemosh in PvP, then they were probably looking at House Lurk in action.
House Baal - Another PvP House, with different approach. It started inside of House Mort as a 'Squadron', where it grew and prospered, and in the end its ambitious Chaplain finally decided it is time for him to become an Archon. And so he did. House Baal had tentions with House Mort, and sometimes shot their ships down for the House Baal Archon's pleasure. In the meantime it favours piracy in the form of boarding ships and selling them back for ransom.
House Sacrosanct - Another PvP House, with fierce hatred to all the heretics and unbelievers, even inside the Chemosh itself.
House Void - PvE House that finds moon exploration and station building - to be the most intresting activities in the entire game.
House Aria - Ship construction and supply House. Runs an internal market of blueprints and ships
House Aunar - The House of spies, intelligence and counter-intelligence. They do all the internal security for Chemosh and follow orders of the Lord-Homunculus himself. There is nothing known about this House even inside the True Chemosh Cult itself. If one learns about the existence of this House - they will not learn anything else about it, except its name.
House Merkat - Home for all market tycoons and sellers. Collects all the taxes inside Chemosh.
House Mora - Starbase and Space Engineers players. This House is very proud of its coders and programmers, that are arguably among the best in Chemosh, if not the best. This House constructs capital flagships for Chemosh
House Altair - A small House for Elite:Dangerous commanders, that fly under the Chemosh banner and ideology
House Eden - A small House for EVE Online capsuleers, that do all their best to protect the Eve's gene pool from being spoiled by the idiots' DNA
House Morgul - A growing PvP House, personal House of Messir
Senshi Bloodline - A group of infantry units, that are not considered 'House' alltogether, but are the stormtrooper corps of the Chemosh instead. They may be assigned to any other House operation if needed. Senshi Bloodline has no Archon, but each unit is independently run by Brahmins, who will do the Archon bidding when the time comes and they are ordered to dispatch. This lethal force of cultist troops remains under constant eyewatch of Lord-Homunculus himself. While not as numerous as it should be today, it will likely become the unstoppable zerg in the future, when dropships eventualy find their way to Starbase meta

Minor Houses:
These are the lesser Houses, that mostly play other games. They are not very well organized, and are scattered across all kinds of jenres. They are mentioned in this article, due to them being part of True Chemosh Cult. Every House there is the member of the GCC (Greater Chemosh Covenant). However they are not part of TCC branch in Starbase, so there will be no further descriptions of these Houses.

Flags and Banners

TCC is currently using several flags, banners and logos for different purposes, squads and divisions. The main official logo is dark blue and black. The legacy (ex-Cobrastan) logo is dark red and black. The new war banner is red, white and black.

Active Wars

TCC treats everyone as heretics, infidels and unbelievers, and it is absolutely hostile to 99% of the playerbase, by its nature. The only purpose of its existence - is to cleanse the Universe, and bring it ti the Ultimate Equillibrium, where only Chemosh can exist, as a sentient lifeform, chosen by their malice God.

Active Rivalry

When the crown burns - the reign ends

True Chemosh Cult officially ceased to exist as an in-game power on February 25, 2022, after the beginning of certain events that dramatically affected the attitude of Russian-speaking people to each other. It turned out that all this time there was a ticking time bomb inside the True Chemosh Cult command - the unspoken friction between the Russian-speaking players running the company. On February 24, 2022, that friction lead to the destruction of the ruling body of True Chemosh Cult. The most powerful PvP company in the game's history exploded like a supernova from within. People who had played with each other for years and considered each other friends - accused each other of all sorts of things, and scattered in different directions. Because it happened inside the company's controlling body and all command was lost - the entire True Chemosh Cult company was brought down to its knees swiftly and brutally, followed by the rapid loss of member strength and combat power. It was truly a doomsday for the True Chemosh Cult. What the enemies could not do for months and years, Chemoshites themselves did in less than 1 day, valiantly sawing themselves off at the zenith of their might and power.

Due to the lethal loss of its core members, 90% of combat pilots and 100% of war supply logistics, Chemosh had to immediately cease all their military operations, including the First Arma War, where the station was just about to get overrun and 'captured' by the Chemosh fleet. If Chemosh did not collapse, it would have been a truly historic event, due to the game itself not having have the mechanics of sovereignty, and therefore the very fact of holding an uncapturable station - would have elevated Chemosh to the previously unattainable heights of pvp-prestige and glory.

However, right before their victory at Arma, everything ended for True Chemosh Cult. All dreams, expectations and ambitions were scattered through space like a substance after supernova, the eruption of which celebrated the end of Chemosh Era in Starbase.

Salvation

After the disastrous collapse, True Chemosh Cult had less than 10 active members. And only 2 members with experience. One of them has managed to build the first Capital Ship in history of Starbase (on Live) - CCS Chemosh Sovereign. It was completed in less than 10 minutes after the alloys were delivered, thanks to the preparation and resource gathering that took place before the update. In 21hrs after completion CCS Chemosh Sovereign warped to Chemosh orbit and back, marking the beginning of Chemosh Salvation. It was also the first capital ship that warped to a moon in game's history. This was a bold challenge to the entire community, and soon Chemosh orbit became crowded by other factions, who warped their own capitals to Chemosh in a few days after CCS Chemosh Sovereign left the moon's orbit.

Activity Spike

There was a huge spike in Chemosh activity right after the 03.05.2022 Major Update, with about 90 members from several Houses returning the next day and a lot of new ones being recruited. Later the activity has dropped down, but according to Chemosh command, they should have enough combat pilots to form a fleet and start a war.

Last War

After several months of hard work in darkness and despair, True Chemosh Cult managed to recover its numbers and fleet combat strength. Their fleet numbers are fully restored and to celebrate that glorious recovery, True Chemosh Cult leadership announced the preparations for the full-scale 'Last War', nature of which is still unknown however.
