21st of April 2020 will forever be remembered as the start of the Olive Civil War of 2020.

Origin
The Olive civil War happened on the 21st and early 22nd of April, 2020, within the Official Starbase Discord server. With around 20 people reacting to a comment made by Mithrandal, quote "olives and mushrooms are the two best pizza toppings dont @ me" Following this, #general-chat exploded into a heap of "Olive bad" and "Olive good" arguments, and from this, the United Leauge Against Olives (ULAO) formed to defend against the Olive praisers.

Entire Story
Mithrandal started an argument about Olives belonging on pizza, this was very quickly followed by Eapple saying "olives fuck that", This quickly descended into chaos from all sides including moderators getting involved on their opinions about Olives, and even a slowdown being implemented into General chat for saying that you disliked Olives.[1] This did not stop the masses flooding the chat with Anti-Olive sentiment and even leaking into Starbase-Chat which meant that the moderators had to cancel the slowdown. Mochro then sends an image that would become the United League Against Olive's flag,[2] the chat was then directed away from the topic about Olives onto Steel, Feathers, Height and Fairys. But this did not stop chat reviving the topic for another wave of Anti-Olive sentiment including images Pro-Olive.[3] The topic continued to descend into total chaos of spam "Olives bad" and "ULAO" also a third party rose up about Grapes, And the ULAO sided and teamed up with the Grape loves. A Discord was made for ULAO to take the weight off the general chat, Grenadiac joined and was sentenced to the "olive-lover-jail". The story still continues and the fallout is yet to be seen. :eye:
New developments as of 22nd of April
Akaii Beloved member of the ULAO betrayed the Anti-Olive movement by saying they liked Black Olives, this was a major blow to the ULAO. It was confirmed that Dragon Bank now fully endorses Olive Rights, this has caused outrage within the community and struck a huge blow against ULAO.[4] UNSC Security Councilman has sided with the ULAO, A small gain for the ULAO after their huge loss with Dragon bank. It seems a miracle of unity has struck the soldiers of the major factions, both Kingdom and Empire are now taking sides in the ULAO and Pro-Olives war, members all around are now siding against the new threat of either Grapes or Olives? maybe this will be a call for peace on the front lines and fight in words not weapons against a new foe?
The developers of Starbase ( Frozenbyte ) have now joined the fray, the epic battle between Grapes and Olives. This has been an interesting split even for them with a Developer auraboo#5456, creating the "Order of the grape" and while the war is still waging it has died down due to the next hint puzzle being released on the same day.
As of the 24th of April
There was a major gain for all of the Grape and Anti-Olive kind today as one of the Community managers of Frozenbyte (auraboo#5456) changed the name of #general-chat to #general-grape.[5] This boosted the morale of all Anti-Olive personnel and showed the whole Starbase server the true power of their movement. This led to spam of grape emojis and the olive users sitting there defenceless against it all, then Pip PipFB#0001 took their stance and asked where the Olive emojis were. The war waged on for another hour before calming again, all eyes are now watching to see what the next big move will be from the Pro-Olives or the Anti-Olives.
