Silde (/ˈsɪl.dɛ/) is the volcanic submoon of Nehalennia. Its surface is almost entirely flat, and riddled with pools of lava. It has a thin atmosphere of a reddish gold, and at sunset it tinges with purple.
Nomenclature
From Northern Sámi, a silde is a trickster spirit who upsets travel plans and scatters herds of reindeer. It can bring riches and health, but gleefully brings death if one's fear betrays them.
