Faction description
As one of the largest known factions in the universe, Empire represents itself as an Imperial Meritocracy with a subdivided military and civilian government.
It is formally lead by Emperor "LauriFB" Laurentius and various commanding officers.
The Empire represents itself in angular, pointed iconography and architecture with a pseudo-Roman naming convention for ships, stations and prominent endos.
Orange, white, gray, black and red are the preferred colors of Imperial ships and stations, however differences may exist as a result of rank or veterancy.
As indicated in various trailers, the Empire is at war with Kingdom, another of the largest known factions in the universe.
Both factions are player and developer lead.
Military
Imperial Armament Corps
The Armament Corps is the military arm of the Empire, consisting of all soldiers and personnel that specialize in using weapons, from frontline units to gunners.
Ship board personnel are also included in the Armament corps.
The Armament Corps is also considered as the backbone and face of the Imperial Army.
Imperial Support Corps
The Support Corps is accountable for the well being of the Empire's soldier. They are responsible for the maintenance and support of the armaments used by the Imperial Army, with Cyberwarfare operations as their side role.
Imperial Engineer Corps
The Imperial Engineer Corps is responsible for building, repairing and maintaining the facilities and ships in the Imperial Fleet.
It is also tasked to construct defences and different defensive fighting positions for use by the Imperial Armament Corps.
Ranks
Soldiers of the Empire are given different ranks based on their performance, service time, and military branch.
