We Are Dominion

Dominion is a new contender to the System, a conglomerate of several self-governing but co-dependent "House" fleets of star travelers that follow a Theological rationale. They are motivated by one thing: Eos. It is unknown how their attachment for the planet came to be or to what extent their motives could lead them.

All accounts of their behavior show they do not follow typical or even uncommon personality protocols found within other endos of the System, but in function they operate as fragmented but complementing parts to each other. This 'Split' is best emphasized and shown in the Division of their Houses, as each House contrasts in their focus or preference of objectives. The Fleet itself, even on lone crafts or vessels, often displays a mosaic of these identities. Dominion Ships crewed by citizens from some if not all of the Seven different 'families'.

A 'Dominionite' is never seen solitary because of this, and will always be part of a larger group within the near vicinity.

Servants of The Will; Children of Eos

Endoes of Dominion commonly refer to Eos as 'The Will', as a sort of figure-head to their directives and a physical idol to their goals. This nature of belief is highly unorthodox and almost foreign to common Endo complexes, and could be considered hazardous if allowed to remain.

Yet Dominion is seemingly peaceful, and despite some facets of their structure being inclined for conflict -should it happen- have a sense of *indifference* to others not in their fleet. Outsiders.

Most could see Dominion as a force of Commerce and Voyage, their insistance upon Eos setting them on a path to build a myriad of stations within her closer orbit. This 'Collar Network' shall serve a number of potential purposes, most assuredly a High-way to circumnavigate around the large celestial body and further their study of its dangerous atmosphere.

The Destined Fleet

What is hidden within Eos, under her clouds and storms of corrosive gas that guarantee destruction to any who enter? What is the purpose of Dominion and their pursuit of the planet, their deity?

Vague and strange utterances of 'The Old Story' , 'The Gates' and 'The Makers' offer nothing but more questions in place of answers, but one thing is certain.

As the Children of Eos, the Seekers of her Will, Dominion is in search of answers as well, and may have a path to find them

Mission Statement

Organizational Structure

The Seven Houses of Dominion are a collective of Endoes that follow separate and independent paths, but intertwined with those around them for the same ultimate cause: The Control of Eos and the prevention of the War from claiming this great planet.

Each House serves its respective purpose for the whole of Dominion, and all Citizens come together from these halls to serve alongside each other as an extensive Family of sorts, if that word can be applied to Endos… But Hierarchy in Dominion takes on many faces, and the Hierarchy within an individual house may be different to the one shared across all Dominion castes and even between Citizens and outsiders.

On first impressions, Dominion conducts itself within older flows of power and identity, reminiscent of something tribal and war-like, but far from savage brutes. They are organized, close-knit and understanding of a number of social norms that they rely on to make their unity strong and binding. Behaviors that have stemmed from numerous schisms in ‘personality’ (If your’e inclined that a machine can manifest one) have led to the construction of these 7 houses, these separate communions or complexes.

You would almost think it was a division of labor functions, created by some enigmatic program in a large, clockwork machine.
