Manual & Recomendations
GPS System
Argyron uses a custom navigation system based upon a modified version of YS.POS including it's own version of ORN, VEL and DST, this is fully compatible with ISAN coordinates but may require some getting used to!
Below is the GPS panel.
- The Vect and DestVect readouts can be thought of as showing how much X Y and Z you are gaining/loosing compared to each other
- ie. flying directly into the belt form origin the Vect screen will show roughly X:0 Y:1 Z:0.
- To fly toward a destination simply try to match the Vect to the DestVect screen.
- Note that Vect and DestVect can wobble around a bit, due to receiver/transmitter functioning.
- To set a destination, open the yolol chip located above the mining laser and change dx, dy and dz in the //Destination Section. Then Push the 'Save' button.
General Operation
- It is recomended that you bing both 'MiningOn' and 'CollectOn' to the same key (I use 'B'), for ease of opperation.
- 'Turtle' cuts maximum FcuForward to 15.
- Make sure to turn of the Transponder if you plan to leave the safezone, Argyron may be fast, but so are pirates!
- When unbolting spare Fuel Rods, don't use autobolt, this may unweld the frame, due to a current unintended feature.
- Battery level will slowly deplete while mining, if it runs out just turn off the mining laser+collector and it will rise again.
- To increase efficiency, FcuBackward is bound directly to the thrusters, this can result in small amounts of rotation while braking if semi-laden. This is normal.
- It is reccomended that you stay seated at all times while moving.
