Shops

This page lists all the various shops in the game and where you can find various items.

Feel free to add shops and items here! If you would like to modify the shop template, ask in #starbase-wiki in the Discord or DM JoelFB#7362.

Summary

Shops are generally located within a "Marketplace" area/building. Big stations such as Origin have a Marketplace building.

Shops in Origin

The Origin Marketplace is located towards the "left" side of the Origin station, and has signs saying "Stores open!". You can enter through multiple entrances but there is one main entrance facing the main Origin station. There is also an Insurance Point to the right of the main entrance (just outside the actual Marketplace).

Here's a list of all the stores in the Marketplace, their location, and what they sell:

Luxury items Location: Past Starsol. Note there's some elevated sales panels as well (nearby). Sells flight computers (FCU), Audio Device, and others.

XConstructs Location: Near MAG, on the first floor. Sells Station Foundation Unit Blueprints;

Starsol Location: Sells e.g. fuel rods, propellant tanks.

Kite Location: On the same level as Auction House, highest floor of the Marketplace. Sells endo parts such as armor.

Bolt Location: Sells default items, i.e. Pickaxe, Cutting Tool, Mining Backpack, and a Large Bag (which is only recommended for more experienced players).

Ares Weapons Location: Located at the top floor near the Auction House. Sells endo weapons.

Q&A

Where can I buy a transponder?
Answer: As of June 2021, transponders are not available in shops, unfortunately. You can only get them through the Ship Designer/SSC for the time being.
