About OKI

Okim Industries (or OKI for short) was established in 2019 and originally was nothing more than a single-person 'faction'. After Closed Alpha has arrived and a few weeks into it OKI started to grow into a group of designers dedicated to provide developers with ships to test ship shop submission procedures, odd shaped and sized ships placement, integration of custom images as shop logos and etc. Thanks to this cooperation to probe the ship shop grounds we became a first faction to have the shop in the game. Our group was existing mainly on enthusiam and common goal with everybody enjoying freedom and liberty of choice.

During CA our creative shipwrights have made over 60 ships filling our 3 shops we have to this day. With CA nearing it's end we in OKI have decided to reorganise our group of enthusiasts into a proper company growing in numbers and attempt to establish our sphere of influence in the game.

Organisation

OKI today is a Corporation ran by 6 Directors. All global decisions are being made by these people some of which are also leading their own division - Company Affairs to maintain internal and external security, Materials to provide us with necessary resources, Construction to build and maintain our factories, Design to do all the ship design related tasks.

We want to retain the liberty of choice that old OKI had as a group of completelly independent ship makers. OKI offers our employees all the freedom of selecting which tasks to take and what to do in task-free time.

Goals

The goal is rather simple - OKI is here to create ships and sell them. As a company we aim to have a full cycle of ship production - from designing and prototype testing into manufacturing and selling them either through shops or to our customers directly.

OKI was always good at making low-cost ships designed for starting players - this focus we want to make our main in EA, but other ship design areas we will also look into.

Diplomacy

We are for peaceful expansion on the markets and fair competition. OKI doesn't not like open conflicts or dirty espionage stuff and will always prefer dimplomacy over harm dealing. To secure our assets and fleets against raids and pirate attacks we will have a limited military forces ready for action at any time.

Recruitment

Okim Industries is actively expanding and is looking for people willing to share the challenge of bringing a company to the top of ship suppliers in Starbase. We need all kind of people with any skills - the way our organisation is set up is designed to ensure that tasks are generated regularly and members are free to choose when and which tasks to take.

Employees

If you are new to the game and want to try out the great variety of activities it offers, learn and gain experience in fulfilling various tasks and do that all without being forced into any specific jobs - this position is for you! Tasks generated by our divisions may range in complexity, difficulty, longevity. Each one has it's pros and cons, rewards and challenges, deadlines and conditions.

Specialists

For people who want a stable job dedicated to one of our divisions we offer a position of a Specialist. Depending on division a Specialist is working for the tasks, decisions and responsibilities will vary. Unlike Employees, Specialists are oblidged to perform tasks only for the division they are a part of, however, they are always guaranteed a job and will always undertake a team leadership / monitoring positions in complex or high priority tasks.

Specialists enjoy:
- right to select any division tasks before they are pushed to employees
- overseer / leadership position in various team-based division tasks
- active participation in division's task generation
- monitoring division's assets and resources
- ability to have as much free time as you need
- possessing any equipment, ships and resources bought, rewarded or obtained in free time

Specialists are expected to:
- dedicate to and complete tasks they have selected
- possess certain leadership and management skills
- respect company's property and rules
- be loyal to OKI and step in when dire times arrive

To be an Specialist in Okim Industries is to be a leader and manager upon whom lays the hardship of monitoring Company's activities, personnel and resources.

Cain Motors Club

What is CMC

Starting of mid 2021 we have established a small biker club which was named after its founder Cain. The idea of the club was mainly to have fun within OKI, but it quickly rose to an open-doors micro-organisation with own code of laws, resources and assets. CNC successfuly performed a number of moon expeditions on bikes, hovercars and trucks that were specifically created for the club.

Joining CMC

CMC is an independent club that does not directly belong to OKI - only to one of our members. Anyone loving bikes, cars, trucks and a good company to hang out with can join the club regardless faction affiliation. As long as you are not the known bloody pirate hunted by everyone - you are welcomed to the CMC.
