Neutral
Faction description
Neutral is less of a formal faction and more of a refusal to align with a major faction. Members of the Neutral association often have their own reasons for refusing to participate in a formal faction.
The symbolism of the Neutral's Nut and Bolt iconography is twofold:
- Bolts in the Starbase universe are numerous beyond count, like members of the Neutral association.
- Regardless of faction everyone relies on bolts to keep a factioned universe held together.
Members who choose to remain Neutral are not formally at war with any of the major factions.
Military
While there is no formal Military order associated among Neutral members, offensive and defensive capabilities can be aligned into three major groups:
Neutral Civilians/Traders
Those in the Neutral association who wish to carve out a space for themselves or attempt to profit directly from anyone who will do business with them.
Mercenaries
For-Hire Mercs will provide firepower for any side, if the price is right.
Pirates
Opportunists who will take what they want, when they want, and as they can.
Ranks
There are no ranks within the Neutral membership.
