How do I know if I've been selected to participate in the Starbase Closed Alpha?
Chosen participants will be sent an email. If the email bounces, you may be sent a DM on Discord.
How often will players be invited?
We don't really know. Players will be invited when needed. JoelFB said on 22/07/2020: "Yeah no date in mind. I think we're taking July pretty slow" and on 24/07/2020: "August hopefully brings some of the features Lauri was talking about, and it's a good guess that will also bring a new wave. Can I buy a key? Can I give away my key?
No. Keys are tied to your Steam Account.
Can I lose my access?
Yes. Follow the rules and you won't lose access.
I think I made typo in the Survey! What do I do?
You will be contacted through discord if the email fails.
Will my progress carry on into Early Access?
From VenlaFB: Possibly to a degree, but we cannot make promises yet. We may have to do a "server wipe" once or multiple times during the Alpha (we will try our hardest not to, though). Likewise some elements of your character may transit from Alpha to the final game (like blueprints). Nothing is decided yet, however.
Will the Closed Alpha participants receive Starbase for free?
No.
