The Azimuth Naval Forces (shortened to ANF) are a Private Military Faction. Founded and led by Grand Commander LewisTehMinerz, the Naval Forces prides itself in the devotion it shows to it’s core priorities;
- Showing excellence in space combat
- Conducting space operations, civilian and militaristic in nature
- Deter aggression in space
- Protect, defend and promote the interests of the Naval Fleet

During the 2060’s, havoc was widespread across the territories of Albion (shown in red), the democratic order of government was declining, public trust had fallen in the elected officials and after years of intense instability with the global system, leading to the downfall of the United Nations and the European Union and the rearmament of nuclear weapons in the Americas and the Russian Federation. The effects of climate change were devouring the earth with temperatures rising and the ozone layer becoming nearly nonexistent. Action was needed.
As instability increased, martial law was declared throughout Albion and a support mission was assembled to handle the functions that the ineffective democratic government would provide. In a show of force, the Navy consolidated power over the Army and Airforce and all power was invested in the Board of the Admiralty. Quickly all instruments of power including the Police and Paramilitary were subordinated directly to the Board of the Admiralty and it’s commander, Chief of the Naval Staff LewisTehMinerz. Within weeks the entire territories of Albion were brought under control using advanced military equipment and tactics and all resistance surrendered.
However, despite the gain of control in Albion, trouble was brewing abroad. The Pan-Asian Dynasty (shown in plum) issued an ultimatum to the American Fascist State: if it didn’t stop it’s conquest of the Far East Siberian Provinces, started by Despot Dictator and self-declared Fuhrer Mitt Forsyth, the Dynasty wouldn’t hesitate to deploy an XA-20 Thermobaric Missile at Washington D.C. The State responded by issuing a similar statement however due to the Neo-Fascist Policies of the country it continued ahead with it’s invasion, leaving the world on the edge of nuclear winter.
20 days later, the true might of the Dynasty would be shown. A launch was detected from the Baikal Nuclear Facility in it’s Russian Territories. Numerous identical launches were also detected throughout the territories, they were holding up there statement and launched multiple nuclear and offensive weapons against the AFS. In Albion, the Military had been developing Space Technology for years though the NAVSPACECOM (Naval Space Command). This technology, never revealed to the public or other nations, was a closely guarded secret. Although nuclear weapons hadn’t been launched at the Albion's territories, the Board of the Admiralty decided that enough was enough and sounded air raid sirens. Forced evacuations were widespread and the entire population was escorted by the Armed Forces to the nearest Evacuation Center. Operation AZIMUTH was engaged.
Operation AZIMUTH was a plan that senior military leaders thought would never have to be used, It involves the entire displacement of the population of Albion to uncharted territories in space using Kamiji Passenger Transport Vessels. These huge vessels could hold 10% of the population and over 100 were made, with special reservations for senior leaders. As the population scattered to airbases across the country to board the vessels, some of those individuals weren’t as fortunate. Those that were in prison at the time or at sea were left as over 100 million people were rushed onto ships and quickly moved into space to lead a new path as the Azimuth Republic. A new name, new government, new ranks, new people in power.
