The Azimuth Naval Forces (shortened to ANF) are the primary armed force and de facto government of the Azimuth Republic. Founded and led by Grand Commander LewisTehMinerz, the Naval Forces prides itself in the devotion it shows to it’s core priorities;
- Showing excellence in space combat
- Conducting space operations, civilian and militaristic in nature
- Deter aggression in space
- Protect, defend and promote the interests of the Naval Fleet and the Republic
Azimuth Republic
The Azimuth Republic is the parent nation of the Azimuth Naval Forces, its de facto government. As an oligarchy, all power rests with the Supreme Council and Supreme Command of the Naval Forces. Citizenship is automatically granted and also restricted to those who conscript into the Azimuth Naval Forces. Discharge from the Naval Forces will result in a revocation of citizenship, but the duration depends on the type of discharge. A discharge classified as honorable (e.g. retirement) will grant the citizen an extra 3 days of citizenship as a buffer so they can move out of the Republic. A discharge classified as dishonorable (e.g. punishment due to certain actions) will not grant this buffer and you will be expected to leave the Republic immediately.
Ranking
The Azimuth Naval Forces has three primary ranking categories.
Supreme Command
Supreme Command lead the Naval Forces in its entirety.
- Grand Commander is the highest rank, the occupant running the entirety of the Azimuth Naval Forces.
- Supreme Commander is the second highest rank, the occupant being the direct advisor to the Grand Commander and chair of the Supreme Council.
Supreme Council
The Supreme Council are a council that comprise of Fleet Commanders and Flag Officers and are the primary advisory and decision making body of the Forces.
- Fleet Commanders run one of the fleets.
- Flag Officers are the deputy to one of the Fleet Commanders.
Officers
Officers assist the Supreme Command in the running of a Fleet.
