Aegis Dynamics is a corporation player faction mainly focused and designing ships and tech for the Starbase community. Aegis Dynamics is a member of the Lodestar alliance.
Goal
AEGIS DYNAMICS is a ship selling company creating original designs to answer the requirements of our customers or the public with high performance and reliable designs. We control every step of the process, from R&D to the after-sell service, manufacturing, coding... We also have our own Navy to protect our interests in this uncharted space.
Everyone can accomplish tasks and missions for the benefit of the organisation and so granted access to more and more to do and each of us will be fairly rewarded for their contributions. However, Aegis Dynamic values the independent mindset of its partners where other factions would treat their people as mindless slaves. Only your enthusiasm and dynamism can determine how far you can reach with us. Community driven projects are not mandatory, but every task can reward you with credit, experience and more importantly a real feeling of camaraderie and friendship. We value our partners and their achievements and getting involved in the company business is a good way to navigate the dangerous void of space and time.
Structure
Aegis Dynamics is divided into four subsections, known as divisions. Each division is led by the most skilled and involved members.

These are the divisions you can choose to join. You can change at any time, so don't be too worried about picking the wrong one.
R&D: R&D members, also referred to as engineers; design, build, and repair ships, stations, and other tech. They do not commonly fly ships, but they do test out new weapons and tech before they are accepted for wider use.
Logistics: Logistics members are the backbone of Aegis Dynamics. They mine and salvage to gather resources for use in other divisions. They almost always fly ships as part of their job.
Navy: As a member of the Navy it is your job to defend Aegis Dynamics in times of and against pirate threats. The navy also does exploration, such as finding new locations for mining and salvaging, as well as new points of interest. Navy members will usually fly combat or exploration ships, as well as engage in ground combat.
Trade: Traders buy and sell supplies for use at Aegis Dynamics, deliver and pick up cargo, and also engage in the majority of diplomatic relations. They usually either fly cargo ships or trade ships, but also spend some of their time at stations marketing and selling ships and talking to other factions, as well as buying and selling other products.
