To answer the question about how templates are useful

Lurkmore have templates like that, Wikipedia has templates like that. Why can't we have templates like that? You should understand that wiki is all about answering questions in full, with pictures, quotes, interesting markdown, etc. I, myself, don't think that I have moral right to make a mistake here, because if I commit mistake and people listen to me, that would be a crime against the community, in my vision of this. So I leave notification about the need of appending info to the page in question, so people who aren't scared and/or confident and more experienced would notice it and work on it.

Consider it as bug report: you leave a notification about the bug and those who can fix it fix it.
