Goals
The goal of the Byzantium faction is to conquer all belligerent factions and build an Empire of Trade, Technology and Prosperity for its Citizens.

The Byzantine government is broken down into several layers:

Consisting of Several layers, The Administrative area of the Byzantine government is structured as follows:
The Basileus and House Palaiologos
The highest ranking officials of Byzantium are the Basileus, Meme of Wheat(Otherwise known as Rico2), and his dynastic house.
The High Council
The High Council consists of the Emperor's Advisors.
The Senate
The Senate of Byzantium consists of dignitaries of large trading corporations 1 representative of each of it's cities, usually also the owner or duke of said city, is granted a seat upon the Senate, but The senate can also call votes for other members of the Byzantium faction to be given a seat. The senate is limited to 30 seats.
The Royal Court
The Court of Byzantium consists of lower ranking officials, These officials are usually trusted high ranking military officials such as admirals but may also consist of Dukes, Counts and Barons of smaller cities.
The Byzantine Armed Forces
The Byzantine Armed forces are dedicated to protecting the citizens and cites of Byzantium and conquering new land for the faction as a whole. To administrate, The armed forces are split into a hierarchy, similar to the Royal Government
Chain of Command
Fleet Admiral The highest rank of the Byzantine Armed Forces, a rank that is only granted to the best of the best of the soldiers, Such a rank is only granted to anyone other than the Basileus in times of great need by a Majority of The Byzantine Senate.
Admiral One of the highest ranks of the Byzantine Armed Forces, a rank granted after many months of grand service to the Republic.
Petty Admiral A high rank given to officers commanding fleets containing ships larger than light-midline Cruisers.
Captain A rank given to the Commander of a ship.
Commander Commanders are the Captain's Second-In-Commands, They can be anything from Squadron Leaders to Leftenants.
Lt. Commander Lt. Commanders are Specialists, they Specialize in a variety of fields from technology to explosives.
Lieutenant Lieutenants are Low ranking officers which take minor command of Crewman and other related
Crewman The standard Crewman of a craft or City. Crewman are the main foot-soldiers of The Republic.
Recruit New recruits go through training under the watchful eye of a Petty Admiral or similar high-level rank.
Recruitment
Byzantium is currently accepting any and all recruits into its ranks. Byzantine Recruits should join the discord and contact high ranking officials to begin training.
