Summary
Beams are used to form the main structure of a spaceship.
Basic information
The diferent sises and shapes of the beams available can be seen below.
All beams have a cross section of 24x24cm.
Straight beams
Straight beams come in lengths of 24, 36, 48, 72, 96, 192 and 384cm.
Corner beams
Corner beams come in two main sizes, 48 and 36cm, these being the dimensions of the L shaped corners.
Corner beams are available with any number of conections (2-6), in any required direction.
Angled beams
Angled beams have a section of the beam sloped at 45°.
Angled beams come in sizes of 72, 84, 96 and 108cm.
Similar angled plating is available.
Attachment plates
Beams should be bolted together using the attachment plates for maximum structural integrity, as shown below.
A connection between two beams is valid as long as the attachment plate touches both beams.
