The Hangar Hall allows the storage of ships on a Station or on a Capital ship.
Construction
A Hangar Hall has to be built entirely in one build zone. This limits its maximum length to 48 Edge pieces and 2 Corners for a total of 576 Edge pieces and 8 corners. The minimum size is only the corner pieces.
Ships are checking its longest side when storing and spawning and currently this check is not necessarily to the longest side of the hangar. Due to this the Hangar Hall should be a cube, so that no matter the orientation the check works. Capital ships' and moon bases' orientation in relation to the galactic grid can also matter and make the spawnable area smaller than the hangar.
The final piece needed is the Hangar Hall Terminal, which needs to be placed in the same zone as the hangar.
You can have station and capital ship components in the hangar area.
Basic Use
The Hangar Hall combines the functions of a spawn/despawn instance, the spaceship designer and the repair hall.
On the Hangar Hall Terminal you have two pages:
- Page 1: Spawn and designer
- Page 2: Repair hall
Troubleshooting
The Hangar Hall may at times fail to properly detect itself. This will show as a blank terminal and the blue zone projection not being there.
In this case you can fix it in different ways:
- Replacing a piece of the hangar
- Relogging (alone)
- Reloading the Zone (alone)
