= Introduction =
EPIC corp. is a company focused on building structures that no endo thought would be possible. It is a combined effort of great people from many different factions, and is therefore neutral and open to all. Since the company welcomes everyone as their members, it doesn't matter whether you're in a different faction or company too; everyone is welcome to join (and you should!)

The ears will be visible from space, and the idea is to make the tips of the ears poke out of the potential gravity well of that moon, so even ships that are incapable of flying in gravity can land and be brought down using an elevator.
Nekotsuki is the first project of this scale to ever be undertaken in Starbase.
The moon Nekotsuki and the surrounding area will be a safespace for all, attempting to assault others in that area will be punished heavily.

Summary

Guide for Starbase Station building.

Introduction

A station of your own can be a great asset in your exploration of the Starbase universe. Whether you build one in the permanent safezone near the Origin stations, or far out into the belt; it can be a place for you to craft, store ore, and set up a living space of your own.

To begin making a station, you'll have to get a Station foundation, the "Inside Safe Zone" one if you plan to build inside the permanent safezone, and the "Outside Safe Zone" one if you want to build further out into the universe.

This guide assumes you are taking the route of crafting everything yourself, though if you bought a foundation and station parts on the auction house, you can skip ahead to Step 3.

Step 1: Research

To be able to craft a station foundation, you'll need to unlock the Station Foundation research in the tech tree

Step 2: Crafting

Crafting a station foundation takes a good bit of material, and the "Outside Safe Zone" foundation is significantly more expensive to make than the "Inside Safe Zone" foundation.

Step 3: Placing the foundation

Either foundation needs to be at least 30km away from the nearest Origin station, and 2km from the nearest player station (as opposed to the 1km the description of the item mentions). To place it down, you drag the foundation out of your inventory, and press the button on top. Keep in mind that the button will be the top side of the station; while you can walk on any side just fine, there are some parts that you can't rotate in every orientation with easy build mode right now, so keeping the "up" direction of the foundation in mind is advised.

If you want to rotate the foundation, you can do so before pressing the button by aligning your player how you want the foundation to be aligned, and grabbing it with E. (This is a bit of a weird way of aligning things, but just experiment with it until it is oriented like you want.)
