Xyston (Greek word for "spear") Empire is a faction built around a totalitarian form of government and a planned economy.

History

I found out about Starbase and noticed the faction type gameplay. I got instantly attached to the game and started mapping out my factions government, structure, ships, military, etc... At this time no one close would really like the game except or 2 friends who also took interest when I showed them the game. But before this i was stuck building this faction alone. When I joined the discord server and I realize the community ads channel had active factions advertising, it was my wake up call. I decided im going to put thought and effort into creating a server, ideology, and structure that would best the other factions. As of April 8th i would start advertising my faction which at first, did not add as much players as expected.

Authority Groups

The Siracle [Status: Abolished as of 5/31/2020 - 6/11/2020]

The Siracle is the top class of our structure. The Siracle consists of the Supreme Leader, political leaders, war leaders and other positions of our factions. The Siracle is the combination of Leaders, making the highest council in the entire Faction. The Siracle was officially abolished in June of the 11th of 2020, carried out by the Supreme Leader himself.

Ypsilos Command [Status: Active]

The Ypsilos Command is a group of high positioned military positions to create a war effort. The Ypsilos itself consists of high ranking officers qualified for the position of Ypsilos. Although Grand Admiral is out-powers the Ypsilos, it will not be a problem for the either of them. Any group of positions below the rankings of the Ypsilos is either controlled by Ypsilos or Grand Admiral. The occupied Ypsilos positions as of 6/15/20 are the Ypsilos Edaos Class General and the Ypsilos Stolos Class Admiral.

The Supreme Leader

Currently, the Supreme leader of the Xyston Empire is "SEV". The Supreme Leader is the highest Assigned position in the faction. The Supreme leader is has the power to control everything about the faction and its members. Members roles, assignments, orders, war, etc... The Supreme Leader controls what associations and parties can be allowed in the faction. The Supreme Leader when being passed on to, must be carefully handpicked by the supreme leader before resigning. But in a case where it may be a forced resignation, those next in power is either picked or picking the one next to rule.

Xyston Warlord [Status: Discharged]

The top General for war situations, the position of Xyston Warlord is automatically gifted a seat in the Siracle council [Abolished group]. The Xyston warlord's job is to create war plans and lead units to victory. The Xyston Warlords orders and incursion set-ups are absolute unless overruled by the Supreme Leader. The Xyston Warlord comes in second place of power from the highest assigned positions in the faction. This position was discharged by Supreme Leader Sev. Previous effected members of the discharge is SAKO and another classified member. SAKO has been reinstated to the Ypsilos Command, taking the position as a Ypsilos Edafos Class General.

Head of Ministries

Head of Ministries are included as high authority members. An example is Nagisa, where he has the position of the head of ministry of foreign affairs. He would have authority in the faction, political-wise. Each head of ministries are allowed a seat in the Siracle council unless you do not follow our ideology, you will be revoked from a position in the council.

Political Party Leaders

Political Party Leaders that win an election made by the people, will get high authority in the faction. Members of the political party will get their own role in the faction and the discord server. The political party leader will also automatically get a seat in the council along with their vice president of any sort.

As of right now, no political parties are either formed nor elected.

Political Party's Stance

Political party that the council may think harms the faction, or harms what it stands for, will get harmlessly relocated. Although, any political party that supports the idea of revolution against us will get purged.

To Gain a Position as a Minister

To gain a political position in our faction, direct message me at sev#9818. I will ask you several questions so I can assess whether or not you are fit for the position. When getting the position as a ministry, you will receive the chosen ministry role in the discord server, if you are head ministry you will get your name on the wiki as well as getting the job of recruiting other ministry requests.

What is an Astronautical Engineer?

An Astronautical Engineer is our main ship designer and construction position. This position is vital for our military and for our fleets to be produced. Multiple Astronautical Engineers can be assigned but there is always the head of the branch.

How our Political Systems Work

Getting a successful political party will need the votes of faction members. The most votes for a political party in the election will win. The winning political party will have the leader a seat in the council along with his vice president or advisor.
