Description
Jim's Galactic Coalition is a corporate faction that contains many specialised subsidiary companies. These companies provide services including but not limited to Weapons Systems, Ship Construction and design, and Cargo Hauling.
Government & Politics
Leadership
The current President of the coalition is founder, Jod_Foi. He was elected upon his founding of the coalition. The role of the President is to oversee, manage and supervise all operations within the coalition as well as acting as the representative for all foreign affairs when possible.
For a new Presidential election to occur, there must be an impeachment process called upon my the Council to remove the current President. For impeachment to pass, there must be an 80% affirmative vote by the Council after a 4-week discussion period. If the current President is impeached, they will remain in their position until a new leader is elected.
When a new election for President is occurring, anyone who is a member of the faction may run. After the candidates have been confirmed by the Council, a 2-week election process may begin. This process consists of each member of the faction voting for their chosen candidate, as well as their second choice. After this first round of voting, the lowest voted half of the candidates will be eliminated from the election and the second round of voting will commence. In this second round, each member of the coalition will vote for their first preference only, deciding the winner.

The Council
The Council was founded on the 29th of October 2020. The Council is a group of individuals tasked with aiding the President with their decision-making process in the government and is the only group that holds the power to vote out the current President. The council always contains 5 members and can be appointed by the President into the position either when a new President is elected after an existing Council member is removed. A Council member can be removed from their position by the President when a new President is elected, any time 3 months after their initial placement into The Council, or when they no-longer fulfil the following requirements: Potential Council members can be chosen from any Government Official, Department Chief, or ex-President who is still in the faction.

Government Departments
Overview
There are many departments in Jim's Galactic Coalition, each managing and controlling all aspects of the Coalition pertaining to them. Departments are headed by a Chief that will semi-independently manage all services and branches under them. This position includes managing their department's budget, payment of employees, documenting events, logs and communications, and fulfilling the requirements of the department set by the President.
(All Departmental Chiefs are currently in acting status. Final placements will be decided closer to EA release).
Department of Defence
Chief of Staff: Yeetus (acting)
The Department of Defence manages all military-related matters in the Coalition. The Chief of Staff is responsible for the organisation of military structures, rank systems, and the maintenance of military personnel, ships, and structures. Physical maintenance and construction for the military may be diverted to the Department of Construction. The organisation of military structures includes forming comprehensive and effective naval fleets and units, as well as upholding and leading a strong core of Generals and Admirals to achieve strategic supremacy.

The Department of Security (DOS) is responsible for administering internal defence and counterintelligence abilities within the Coalition. The Chief of Security oversees matters relating to policing of hierarchal structures and rank, maintaining homeland security, and ensuring the safety of Jim's Galactic Coalition's Subjects and Property.
