Since its reveal, the Ithaca has undergone four iterations, leading to the IV designation; its most recent variant now bears the designation, "IC-03".

The Stellar Archivists or StelArchs, are a non-political non-military neutral organizations devoted to the preservation and collecting of open knowledge. Stellar Archivists can be found in virtually every faction, every company and every station as they are simple common individuals who collect and record and share common knowledge among the community.

==Code of Conduct==
Though Stellar Archivists themselves can have loyalties to the [[Empire]] or the [[Kingdom]] or other factions, when they perform the duties of a Stellar Archivist, their first and foremost duty is to record the facts as they are. Their code of neutrality in writing must overcome any need for enforce political or cultural biases.

*To never infuse one's political, cultural, religious or personal opinions into any article they write or edit.
*To only record knowledge that is considered common knowledge, never to record or share knowledge revealed through espionage.

It is firm, that the Stellar Archives only maintain public information. Knowledge that factions, companies, kingdoms or empires, deem as secret, may never be published or shared within the Stellar Archives. Stellar Archivists themselves must never use their position as a Stellar Archivist to manipulate knowledge to favor one side over another.

==Locations==
The Stellar Archivists do not function in any central location, as the spread of information is vastly decentralized throughout databases throughout the galaxy and possibly beyond. This is to assure that every single database is repeatedly made to backup all others so that information can never be lost. To assure the longevity of information it must be made freely available to all.

Stellar Archivists occasionally pilot vessels with the Crest of the Stellar Archivists shown clearly on the the vessels.

All knowledge gathered by the Stellar Archivists are gathered in a vast public database shared by all known as the Stellar Archives which are public knowledge and edits and contributions can be sent in even by non Stellar Archivists. LingCorp is a very organized multi purpose company specializing mostly in Spaceships and trading but also in: Space stations, automated factories and space exploration.
LingCORP was founded on May 28th 2019 which makes it one of the oldest Companies in Starbase.

Major [[stations]] exist within safe zones controlled by large [[Factions|factions]] in order for peace to be maintained between the galaxy's [[Endoskeleton|inhabitants]]. 
Safe zones are restricted to these major [[Capital Mega Station|stations]], though eventually safe zones can be established elsewhere in the galaxy as well.

== Moons ==

Eos has ten moons, the closest being around 20000km (55 hours at 100 m/s ) from the asteroid belt. The largest moon is thought to be 1000km in diameter. Planned features such as player built [[stations]], mining lunar rocks, and warp gates will turn moons into important hubs in future updates.

[[Elysium]]: A flat, gray moon dotted with many mountains. It is believed to be the closest moon to the home station at about 20,000 km, and was the first to be explored. It's exact size and distance is unknown. Sometimes abbreviated as Ely.

First explored during the Closed Alpha on the 20th of May, 2020, at around 10:45 Greenwich Mean Time, by the player hatmanjmc of the [[Collective]]. The voyage took over 40 hours, and covered an estimated distance of 20,000 km. Due to a sensor malfunction, hatmanjmc crashed, but survived and was able to repurpose his ship in order to plant a flag and explore Elysium. This marked the first time an Endo reached any planetary surface, the first time a faction reached the moon, the first crash landing, and possibly the most famous bug report in the history of Starbase at the time.

Red Wood Industries (RWI) is a militaristic organization lead by “[https://www.youtube.com/CaptainJack Captain Jack]”.
While starting out as just a ship manufacturer, RWI has quickly made a name for itself in being an extremely efficient and independent military faction. The independence of the faction relates to the fact of RWI not depending on others for its resources to operate and produce leading starships and starbases.

The faction is split up into several Divisions (Armed Forces, Logistics and Industry) which also have sub divisions.

While starting out as just a ship manufacturer, RWI has quickly made a name for itself in being an extremely efficient and independent military faction. The independence of the faction relates to the fact of RWI not depending on others for its resources to operate and produce leading starships and starbases. The faction is split up into several Divisions (Armed Forces, Logistics and Industry) which also have sub divisions. RWI is open to recruitment, but does have some strict requirements. == Organization ==
==== President of the Council ====
The Council President (further denoted by “President”) is appointed by a majority vote of all current Council Chairmen. The vote to elect a President takes place every three months. The president must be one of the currently appointed Chairmen. The President acts as a mediator during Council conflict, leads Council meetings, he is the primary diplomat for the IA, is the leader of the combined IA military, and can temporarily suspend a Council Member if the change needs to be immediate. Afterwards, if anyone wants to reinstate the member they can start a Council meeting. The council president can be impeached; this is done by requesting an emergency meeting by at least three Chairmen, or fourty percent of all Council Members. For the emergency meeting to be valid, at least fifty percent of all Chairmen and fifty percent of all Council Members must be present, unless overruled by a majority vote of the Council chairmen. During this meeting the organizing members will present their complaints and the President will present their defense. If – at the end of this meeting – seventy percent of all present members vote for impeachment, the President will be removed from his position, active immediately, and a vote to appoint a new President must be made within seven days.

==== Chairmen ====
Each faction should vote in its chairman for each month with the stipulation that it cannot be the same person for 2 months after they were the chairman last. Single-leader factions have their leader as permanent chairman. Chairmen are responsible for informing their council and faction members of decisions, as well as discuss votes with their council members.

==== Voting ====
Each Council Member has one vote. The votes require a majority to pass, unless they are to change the constitution of the Confederation in which case it takes a seventy-five percent vote to pass.

==== Impeachment ====
If a chairman is deemed unfit for duty then they can be voted out of office. To begin this process, all other Council Members must hold a vote to remove that Councilman from power, this vote must be over sixty percent in order to begin the process. All who voted to impeach a Council Member must then collaborate and compile evidence that would be presented to the rest of the Council for review. The defendant must also present a case before the Council. After both the plaintiff and defendant have spoken, the council must hold a vote to impeach, over sixty percent must vote in favor of impeachment for the Chairman to be removed.

All IA member nations are required to give up a portion of their military, the amount may change depending on the urgency of the situation. Enforceable up to twenty percent.
