Cargo lock frames on/off state can be controlled with buttons and levers, or with YOLOL.<br>

Cargo mass is evenly distributed between all cargo lock frame parts.
Auto bolting does not currently (as of 18th August 2021) bolt the lock frames together. Auto bolting will bolt the lock frames to any adjacent beams but not other lock frames. The lock frame will still power up though (last tested 28th September 2021).
* Mining Lasers can penetrate the lock frame field.
* Cargo Lock beams can penetrate the lock frame field although this is largely pointless because the lock frame field holds any objects inside in stasis.

Trading Station Markka is a structure located approximately 300km from the Origin Stations. Trading Station Markka has multiple ship shops, refuelling stations, and both a Space Ship Creator (SSC) and Easy Build Hall can be found at the centre of the Station. There is also an Insurance Transfer panel located within the SSC.

There are no NPC traders at Trading Station Markka, making the Auction house the only means by which a player can list their ores. This however is supported by a reduced tax rate of 2% (Tax on Origin is 10%).

Trading Station Markka is surrounded by a safe zone with 25km radius.

Ghost Stations
There are two ghost stations, Nox and Relicta, that serve as waypoints leading to Markka.
*This article is about the Assembly job. For a list of all possible jobs, see Jobs.
Summary
Assembly is an entry-level job for any endoskeleton looking for a way to make some profit.
Capital Mega Stations offer the assembly jobs for any willing workers.
Basic assembly work is an easy start for anyone looking to become proficient with the bolt tool in a safe environment.
Workers sign in at a workstation at the Assembly job hall, where they are given a bolt tool and access to the parts to be assembled.

The job consists of bolting together basic parts and moving them to the collection zone.

Payment
Workers are paid for the amount of work they do, so the more efficient a worker is, the more they are able to earn in a shorter time. System counts the number of items the worker has assembled and moved to the collector zone, and they get paid accordingly.

<!-- Can this be elaborated with more detail? -->
Description of a generic workday
# Workers enter the Assembly job hall and chooses a workstation
# They acquire a Bolt Tool at the workstation, which they can freely use during their stay at the Assembly hall
# The more items the workers are able to assemble, the more money they'll get paid
# There are no time limits; the work can be stopped and the bolt tool returned at any time

<!-- More Tips? -->
Helpful tips to optimize assembly!
* Examine the example image so that you know how the finished item should look.
* Be sure to use all the provided parts, and bolt them correctly.
* You can join forces with one or more friends to work more efficiently, but you'll also share the payment.
WIP page, Please contribute!

Player Stations Introduction
Player stations can be built by placing a Station Foundation (Inside Safezone) or a Station Foundation (Outside Safezone). These must be within or outside of Origin's Safezone respectively.
Player stations provide the user with a 300 meter radius Safezone which can be entered freely by the creator and anybody who is permitted.

Creating a Station
To place a player made station, you first need to research the foundation block. Go to your research tab (K) and find the "Advanced" tab. You will need to research the predecessor, the Advanced Crafting Bench, before being allowed to research the station foundation block. If you wish to make a foundation outside of the safe zone, you will need to get to the bottom of the research tree to unlock the Station Foundation (Outside Safezone) research. This will take significantly more research.

The player made station MUST be at least 1,000 meters (1km) away from another player station and at least 30,000 meters (30km) away from an Origin station.
Note: These numbers have not been confirmed yet.

Once the station has been placed, the button on the projector has been pressed and there is no errors in chat, it will begin a ten minute timer. Once the ten minute timer is complete, the Station's Safezone is now active, alongside the transponder.

Permissions
To access the permissions menu, press your inventory key (I) and select "Stations". You'll then see the "Stations List". Select your station. In this menu, you can change the access privileges that all players, friends, your company and group have. When the station is first created, you only have the ability to change the transponder and who can view it.

Building
To build on your station, you will need the Advanced Crafting Bench. This provides the user with a variety of blocks to build their station with. However, the user will need to research these blocks in the "Advanced" research tab before being allowed to use them.

Troubleshooting
Invisible transponder
If you can't see your station's transponder (i.e: User's Station) after the Safezone is secured, go to your Settings -> Transponders -> Station Transponders. From there, set these values for the following labelled settings:
* "Amount of received signals from Station Transponders" to 30
* "Receive signals from owned stations" to 3.0
* "Station Transponder range" to 500
* "Distance for hiding Station Transponder signals" from 0.1 to 1.5
* "Speed limit for Station Transponder visibility" to 0

Can't press blue button without a system error
If you are too close to an Origin Station, you will get the error that says:

"You are attempting to build your station in a restricted area, please find another location"

To alleviate this, ensure that you are at least 30km away from an Origin station.

If you're too close to a Player Station, you will get the error that says:

"You are too close to other stations to activate the projector"

To fix this, look for any player stations surrounding you. In your transponder settings, max the "Receive signals from x" values to ensure that you can see all player stations, regardless of affiliation. This can be reverted afterwards if you wish.

Other notes
A player station can hold somewhere between 6,500 and 10,000 total items, but this number has not been thoroughly tested. This number may vary depending on the mass of each item stored in the station.

Currently, you cannot use the Auction House at a player station.
A radio transmitter is device that exists only on developer stations, it's signals are detectable using navigation receivers. They are used in community navigation systems. Radio transmitters can currently not be built by players, all 4 existing ones are developer provided.

Basic information
* Transmitters:
* Have limited range, station transmitters have a maximum range of 1000000, or 1000km
* Sends a message to any receiver, which is in the correct range.
* Does not transmit power, which means receivers must have their own power sources.

Known station transmitters
* All Station transmitters broadcast on frequency 1.
* Coordinates for transmitters for the ISAN system can be found on the ISAN page.
}}<section begin=summary/>The station foundation blueprint projector is a device used to begin the construction of a new station. It determines the station's origin in the universe, and disappears when the foundation has been properly assembled.<section end=summary/>

The audio signal device is used to add audio feedback to spaceships and station devices. They support a plethora of options to customize the playback of audio, and can be wired to directly via their sockets or via a modular interface on their backside.

Basic Usage
Find an empty spot in the universe and press the button on the Station Foundation Blueprint Projector.
*You cannot create your station too close to other stations
*You cannot create your station in restricted areas
*If you try to create your station but the area is restricted, pick up the projector and find a more suitable place

Build the Station Foundation Blueprint. You can build it in three different ways:
*By using a building tool and having the correct materials in your inventory or station storage.
**You can see which materials are required for each part by accessing the Universal Tool and choosing the Materials tab
*Automated building; you have correct pieces in your inventory or station storage and they automatically go to the blueprint at the rate of one piece in one second.
**You can change the automated building settings by pressing I and navigating to Stations tab, and choosing Building page
*Manually snapping the correct piece into place (press C to toggle snapping on/off) and weld with M1 (and unweld with M2 if needed) using the welding tool.
The map shown below depicts concept art and not any arrangement of moons that was present in either the closed alpha or the early access.

Eos has ten moons, the closest being around 20000km (55 hours at 100 m/s , 37 hours at 150m/s) from the asteroid belt. The largest moon is thought to be 1000km in diameter. Planned features such as player built stations, mining lunar rocks, and warp gates will turn moons into important hubs in future updates.
Small 3D Printer
The small 3D printer is a smaller, but slower version of the large printer. It has an integrated utility box and can accept it's own fuel rod, or use power provided from other sources

3D Printer
The large 3D printer requires a Utility box to connect to a station's power grid and to access the station inventory for material and to output complete parts.

How to use
Small 3D Printer
# Insert fuel rod into the printer
# Insert the blueprint chip
#* You can buy these from the Marketplace.
# Turn on the printer
#* Change UtilityConnection field to 1, this is required to allow printer to put finished items into station storage.
#* Change PrinterControl field to 1 and make sure PrinterOrderAmount is above 0 (should be 1 by default).
#* Printer requires access to the building materials for each piece (through station storage or connected ore crates)

3D Printer
# Prepare the printer
#* Requires a lot of power, it's recommended to use a Utility box and to purchase electricity to the station storage.
#* Radiators must be used to cool the printer, one printer needs approximately 17 radiators.
#* Printer needs to be connected to a storage. Use pipe connection with a Utility box.

# Insert a blueprint chip

# Turn on the printer
#* Change PrinterControl field to 1.
#* Printer requires access to the building materials for each piece (through station storage or connected ore crates)
Capital Mega Station introduction
30 Origin Stations exist as the first construction site of every new endoskeleton.<br>
Origin Stations are massive superstructures, several kilometres across.<br>
Every origin station has identical facilities including; the tutorial areas, jobs, trading facilities, ship shops and spaceship designers.

Origin Station services
Jobs
The Origin stations all have a work hub, here you can complete the tutorial, along with doing some extra jobs for a few credits.<br>
Origin stations are often conveniently built next to asteroid fields.<br>
Usually these Stations offer the possibility to enlist as a miner to create income.

Trading
Origin stations have facilities to sell ore and parts directly to the station for credits.<br>
The auction house allows players to trade ores and parts to each other, with a 10% tax.

Sunny ship centres
New spaceships can be bought from the ship shops.<br>
Available ships are displayed there, with a test flight option, making it a convenient location to find a ship suitable for your needs.<br>
Player Ship shops
New spaceships can be bought from the ship shops.<br>
A list of available player ships can be found here: Ship Shops.<br>
Available ships are displayed there, with a test flight option, making it a convenient location to find a ship suitable for your needs.<br>

Easy build hall
The easy build hall contains an instanced area, where players can use the easy build mode to add parts and modules to their ship.

Spaceship designer
Origin stations are equiped with an advanced spaceship designer.<br>
The so called Space Ship Creator (short ssc) is a Hangar like building. Inside you will find terminals where you can enter an editor area solo or as a group and create ship blueprints at no cost.<br>
Ship blueprints can be turned into ships at the cost of the needed resources and an assembly fee.<br>
For more information regarding the ssc you can look into this Spaceship Designer Guide
Eos has ten moons, the closest being around 20000km (55 hours at 100 m/s , 37 hours at 150m/s) from the asteroid belt. The largest moon is thought to be 1000km in diameter. }}<section begin=summary/>Three different rail mover entities exist: basic, turntable, and jointed for machinery.<br>
Rails can be used to create anything that moves on rails, like elevators, gun turrets, and factory lines.<br>
The primary use for rails however is automation.<section end=summary/>

Basic information
The mover is the device which is located on the rail and performs the actual locomotion of other devices on top of it.<br>
Rail movers are controlled by using a YOLOL variable; by default, the "speed" variable.<br>
A mover will automatically connect to any rail it is on, and can only move along the rails.

Anything connected to the sockets or plugs of a mover will also be on the same network as the mover.<br>
This means that devices properly connected through a mover can be YOLOL-controlled from the same network as the mover.
}}<section begin=summary/>The reconstruction machine is a device capable of rebuilding endoskeletons should they come to an untimely end. It consumes an replacement kit for each reconstruction it performs, and the endoskeleton must be linked to the machine prior to destruction in order to reactivate at the machine. Owing to their significant expense, reconstruction machines are rarely mounted on personal craft or fighters.<section end=summary/>

Basic information
The reconstruction machine is assembled from four distinct modules:
* The cradle, which performs the physical assembly
* The fabricator, which prepares resources for the reconstruction
* The generator, which consumes and converts network power
* The terminal, which provides a user interface for operating the machine

Though the reconstruction machine does have an internal battery and a generator, it requires external power to recharge after usage.

Build station foundation
Build the Station Foundation Blueprint. You can build it in three different ways:

1. By using a building tool and having the correct materials in your inventory or station storage.
* You can see which materials are required for each part by accessing the Universal Tool and choosing the Materials tab

2. Automated building; you have correct pieces in your inventory or station storage and they automatically go to the blueprint at the rate of one piece in one second.
* You can change the automated building settings by pressing I and navigating to Stations tab, and choosing Building page

3. Manually snapping the correct piece into place (press C to toggle snapping on/off) and weld with M1 (and unweld with M2 if needed) using the welding tool.

Add modules to your station
Once the station foundation is finished, the Station Designer can be accessed from the terminal inside it!

Warning!
Your Station will not work properly if the modules are not fully attached to the Foundation. The Landing Pad does not snap to it, only lot modules. Use the "Show detached Station parts" button in the station desinger to highlight faulty modules before saving.

Resigning and claiming a station
* You can resign a station from the terminal inside the station foundation at any time
* You can also resign the station by pressing the button on Station Foundation Blueprint Projector, if nothing has been built yet
* Once you resign your station, anyone can claim it, becoming the new owner
Station Foundations
There are currently two types of station foundations in game:
* The Station Foundation (Inside Safezone)
* The Station Foundation (Outside Safezone)

They both can be bought from other players or crafted after completing the required research, with the version for outside safezones being much more expensive than the one for within a safezone.

Make sure the Station Foundation is in you inventory before beginning the journay of finding a suitable place for your station.
Create your station
* You cannot create your station too close to other stations
* You cannot create your station in restricted areas
If the range finder does not hit anything, it reports the search distance.
The finder can be used on endoskeletons and other objects such as asteroids and ships.

Basic information
Range finders can be used to:

* Trigger changes when the detected range changes.
* Create balance systems for space ships by comparing ranges on the opposite sides of a ship.
* Hover ship elevation control by comparing a elevation level to a range finder.

How to use:

* Range finders are bolted to a hardpoint.
* Requires a power source, such as the generator via cable or ducts.
* Once installed, its measured range can be found from RangeFinderDistance device field. RangeFinderDistance will show the value set in RangeFinderSearchLength if the beam doesn't hit anything.

Power consumption when turned on: 1 electricity per second.<br>
|jp=データネットワーク
}}

Summary
Data networks enable the creation, maintenance and control of large number of devices. Universal tool and cable tool are the tools generally used for managing data networks.<br>
Data networks enable designers and pioneers to create, modify and maintain devices, such as power generators, programmable logic chips and more mundane devices such as doors and elevators. <br>
The signals are controlled with programming language YOLOL that is accessible to everyone.

Terminology
Objects have physical sockets and virtual device fields inside them.
* Sockets are used to connect objects to data networks with cables or directly through other devices.
* Device fields are configured and accessed when objects share the same data network.
** A device field controls one specific attribute or feature within a device.
*** The device field can for example be the amount of generated heat within a thruster, or a value that can be manually changed such as button states in buttons.
** These device field names can generally be configured by using the appropriate tool.
<!-- Device fields -->
<!-- device field -->

Data network resources
Data networks are connected together with cables.<br>
When devices are connected together, the data network can transfer two different resources.<br>
# Electricity
# Signals

Electricity: all objects within the data network share power
* A generator attached to a data network tries to supply power to multiple devices or machines.
** This is why it is important to have multiple generators if there are many devices connected to the data network that need power.

Signals: all objects within the data network are able to communicate with each other
* Cables can connect to each other directly.
* Sockets may have multiple connections and cables may branch.
* There are no limits to how many data networks can exist e.g. on one spaceship.
** A branched data network doesn't break as easily during combat.

Device fields
Each device can have a set of device fields. This fields constist of a name and a value and both is customizable. Any field on the network can have any name you wish, "conflicting" names are allowed too, in fact sometimes they are used to build a network. Renaming a device field does not changes how the device manages it, swapping the name of two device fields' name within the same device does not actually swaps the two field. The devices' manages their field by their position, not by their name, e.g.: A box thruster's first field will be always the control field regardless of it's name, while the second field will always be the feedback.

Field type
These fields can be of 3 type: input, output or IO (input + output).

* Input fields are purely for controlling the device. The device itself does not changes the value of an input field but changes it's way of operation e.g.: ThrusterPowerLevel. The thruster increases or decreases it's current thrust based on what you set the ThrusterPowerLevel field to, but on it's own it will never change the value of the field.

* Output fields are the exact opposite. No matter what you write into these fields it will never affect how the device operates. Output fields are only for monitoring the devices' states. The devices periodically writes values into their output fields overwriting whatever was in there previously. An example is the "CurrentThrust" field of the thruster, you can not modify the thruster with that field, and whenever the thruster changes it's thrust level, it overwrites this field with the new value,.

* IO fields are the combination of both input and output. You can manually write a value in them and that will change the operation of the device but on the other hand some events within the device (e.g.: pulling a lever) will cause the device to also write a new value into the field.

Value propagation
Whenever a device changes its own fields' values, the change is propagated through the network. Every other device will update their fields of the same name to the new value. Updating the field through the Universal tool does not cause a change propagation but manual events (e.g.: pulling a lever) do. The propagation affects both input and output fields of every device on the same network. Thus you don't need Yolol to connect 2 devices, just name one device's input or IO field to the same name as another device's output or IO field. Yolol chips cause value propagation when you set a global name (e.g.: :GlobalName = value), but keep in mind that if the name does not exist on the network then the yolol line will fail. The previous yolol code is valid if there is at least one device that has a field with the given name (without the ':' prefix) or if there is a yolol memory chip with an entry with the given name.

<!-- cable network -->
<!-- signal network -->

Player Stations Introduction
Player stations can be built by placing a Station Foundation (Inside Safezone) or a Station Foundation (Outside Safezone). These must be within or outside of Origin's Safezone respectively.
Player stations provide the user with a 1,000 meter Safezone which can be entered freely by the creator and anybody who is permitted.

}}<section begin=summary/>Tractor beams grab objects that their beams hit. They are most commonly found in cargo spaceships as they enable the transportation of heavy cargo. The beam drags the attached object close to the tractor beam base, orientating the object according to the nozzle of the beam.<section end=summary/>

Basic information
* The device requires power to work. The amount of power needed is determined by the beam length, device state, and force applied when moving objects.
** The further and the heavier the objects are, the more power the tractor beam needs to be able to move them.
* If power is cut out, the object will stop moving but it will be held in place.
** This is a safety feature to prevent objects from drifting away, causing possible damage in interiors, such as factories and ships.

* Tractor beams are commonly controlled with buttons and levers.
** Buttons toggle the power on and off.
** Levers control the beam length, rotation and such.

* In automated factories, the tractor beams are generally connected to a mover.
*Endoskeletons can be moved by a tractor beam, but can easily escape.
* Cargo lock beam locks object entirely if hits it from 3 sides and small. Tractor beam, meanwhile, will never lock an object entirely and used to transport something. Also, as stated above(but will serve as a reminder here), tractor beam can actually manipulate with it's target, unlike Cargo lock Beam.

Assembly
A tractor beam needs to be attached to several objects to function:
*Utility Tool Body which needs equipped with 2 Utility Tool & Rail Cannon Capacitors
*Small Turntable Mount 2
*Small Turret Base or equivalent
*Device Hardpoint or equivalent
The hardpoint needs connected to Cable or Duct to supply power.
Most spaceships for example need to have a properly assembled generator in order for the ships to function. Every machine or device that requires power must be connected to the generator's socket board via a cable, or otherwise to another source of power such as a battery. A generator is constructed from many modules, and these modules may be assembled in many different variations. The most basic form of a generator consists of a single generator unit, a fuel chamber, a socket board, and a cooling board with cooling cells.<section end=summary/>
* The fuel rod (This is the container for the the raw fuel that the fuel chamber will process to create energy)
* The fuel chamber (The fuel rod is placed inside the fuel chamber. The raw fuel is then processed into processed fuel in the fuel chamber)
* The generator unit (Within the generator unit processed fuel is processed into power)
* The cooling board (Cooling cells are placed here and coolant is processed to reduce heat)
* The socket board (For attaching cables)
* Enhancers (For improving efficiency, in three different tiers)

A generator creates its own resource network within it, which distributes and processes five different resources:
* Raw Fuel - Stored in the fuel rod.
* Processed Fuel - Processed in the fuel chamber from Raw Fuel.
* Power - Processed in the generator unit from Processed Fuel.
* Heat - Produced from the two latter processes, the processing of raw fuel and the processing of power.
* Coolant - Stored in the cooling cells. Processed in the cooling board to reduce Heat.
|-
|-
| Generator Unit Heat Generated || 100 || 90 || 80
|-
|}

Heat and cooling
Generator units and fuel chambers produce heat while working, which can be cooled by coolant cells or by radiators. The heat produced is directly related to the current unit rate, so at 50 rate the generator unit or fuel chamber produces 50% of the heat. Generator units do not overheat - they just cannot generate power past their ability to cool.

* Fuel chambers produce 100 (T1), 90 (T2) and 80 (T3) heat
* Generator units make 100 (T1), 90 (T2) and 80 (T3) heat + extra heat for each other generator unit they're adjacent to.
** Adjacency heat, for all tiers, and from 1 unit to 6, is as follows: 25, 55, 95, 145, 205, 280.

* Cooling racks transfer 300 heat into cooling cells, regardless of how many cells are in the rack.
* Each radiator piece removes 90 heat, the base and extensions pieces function the same.
** Each pipe socket board can transfer 3000 heat, enough for 33.333 radiators.

Enhancers do not affect the heat produced by the fuel chamber.
