}}<section begin=summary/>Triangle thrusters are a type of thruster while smaller and less powerful than Box Thruster, allow for modular construction of compound thrusters. Triangle thrusters that touch on any of the three sides (excluding the nozzle or hardpoint) share a single group and device hardpoint. This means that Triangle Thrusters can be stacked to farm large single thrusters, however this comes at the cost of finite control as single thrusters within the group become inaddressable. Important: Renaming connected triangle thrusters into separate groups will not make them fire individually! Instead it will cause significant scripting issues.<section end=summary/>

Basic information
Triangle thrusters are composed of five distinct components:
* The body, which houses the other components and provides convenient mounting surfaces. The body also holds two of the modular ports.
* The chamber, which burns propellant to produce thrust. The chamber holds the final modular port.
* The nozzle, which channels the exhaust out of the chamber (thus producing thrust). Any tier of nozzle is compatible with any tier of body.
* The electricity converter, which converts power from generators and batteries into power usable by the thruster. Any tier of electricity converter is compatible with any tier of body.
* The propellant converter, which prepares propellant to be burnt. Any tier of propellant converter is compatible with any tier of body.

Despite their relatively low thrust power per unit, the modularity and ease-of-use that triangle thrusters offer is unmatched, though one does need to be careful to properly protect grouped thrusters as the destruction of just a few units can cause a total disruption of the entire thruster bank. 2 triangle thrusters exceeds the amount of thrust from a single box thruster while saving on space, so they are common on cheap short range shuttles or as part of the main thrust on massive freighters where propellant is not a concern.
Usage
Heatsinks facilitate the interaction between devices that produce heat (such as generators, fuel chambers, and mounted weapons) and the devices that can dissipate heat (such as radiators). Heatsinks can be used to effectively bypass the transfer limitation for heat that exists between devices and radiators, as their thermal transfer limitation is significantly higher. Despite their significant visual differences, each heatsink style has the same effective mass and thermal properties.
}}<section begin=summary/>
A modular ore cargo crate is a storage device that can hold ore and materials. The crates can be stacked to form a larger storage unit with a proportionally increased storage capacity, and they share power, data, and pipe networks when stacked. Crates are interacted with via a connection to a resource bridge. Stacked crates can be used similarly to ducts in order to passthrough power and fuel to other modules.
<section end=summary/>

Basic information
# A modular storage crate can hold ore and materials. Its maximum capacity is 1,728 kv (the equivalent of a 120cm x 120cm x 120cm material cube).
# One crate can store only one material type at a time.
#* Crates require power to be able to transfer ore.
#* However, crates do not require power to merely store the ore.
#* Each crate has sockets for cable and pipe connections on each side.
# Cargo crates can be attached to one another to create larger storage units. No cables or pipes are needed between adjacent crates.

Interaction
Cargo crate interaction is done with any inventory connection established with the crates. For example, a connection will show cargo crates as slots in the backpack inventory, and ore can be pulled to the game world as material cubes. Each cargo crate is represented as one inventory slot in any interface that they are shown within.

Example usage
Correct setup for interacting with the crates:
* The crate should be wired from a socket to a source of electricity.
* Stacked crates can be used to move power and fuel across a ship while also providing pipe connection redundancy that will not leak fuel when damaged.
* The crate should have a pipe connection from a socket to the hardpoint of a resource bridge.
** The resource bridge's hardpoint should likewise be connected to a source of electricity.

With the above setup, the player should be able to activate a tether connection to the resource bridge by pointing the resource bridge and pressing their 'use' button.
* When a connection is established, the player should see the inventory space of the crates in their inventory screen.
<section end=summary/>

* The crate should have a pipe connection from a socket to the hardpoint of a resource bridge.
* Stacked crates can be used to move power and fuel across a ship while also providing pipe connection redundancy that will not leak fuel when damaged.
